What is creative thinking? It can be anything you want it to be. Diffusing a quarrel with a joke is creative thinking. Coming up with a plan that is illogical for you is creative thinking. You deciding to shift careers in the prime of your life is inspired action spurred by creative thinking. Coming up with new ways to enjoy time with the love of your life is creative thinking.
Finding an exciting way to turn your hobby into a source of income is creative thinking. Coming up with and executing a win-win proposition to break a deadlock in business is creative thinking. Selling an idea successfully to a difficult client is creative thinking. Going against the grain and choosing a radically different service to launch but one that is exciting to you is creative thinking.
Disrupting established thought patterns is creative thinking.
Coming up with new, better ways to do things is creative thinking.
Choosing to imagine yourself being a more expansive self is creative thinking.
Bob Proctor is a master thinker – he is globally acknowledged as one. He is also my mentor. From his teachings and his mentorship which I now apply to myself regularly and in the experience of myself and my clients, it’s clear to me that 3 conditions have to be met before we start to unleash our creativity in a consistent way.
We have to have faith that it can be done. Not blind faith but faith based on awareness, understanding and study.
We have to believe that it is possible for us — this new idea. Whether it is to be someone or to do something … we have to believe it … there has to be congruence between the conscious and sub-conscious minds otherwise the mind rejects it or it gets focused on stalling the idea before it takes off.
We must really want it — we must really want it with our heart. Otherwise the mind tricks us into giving up any time we see that there is no evidence to suggest that we are on the right track.
That’s where emotional and mental mastery become very important, they are the keys to great success.
Leaders in every walk of life have understood this mind-body-soul connection in their search for the better. And it’s in this quest for the better that all of us, we make up society, are better off.
Jeff Bezos imagined an online store with thousands and thousands of books. Oprah saw herself as more than just a TV show host, she was a top business leader in the entertainment industry long before she became one. Steve Jobs dared to think differently himself first before he dared us to think different.
Your imagination is a very powerful creative faculty and creative visualisation is one technique used across the board by leaders in their field— critical thinking, intuitive hits, problem solving, the ability to practice mentally your craft – all of this emerges from your psychic powers; how you use your mind, and the pictures that you create in your mind that lead you toward success.
Sandy Gallagher is a master at creative visualisation. She also co-founded the Proctor Gallagher Institute … as a PGI consultant I am really pleased to share with you Sandy’s comprehensive visualisation guide … this world, this beautiful invisible world is exciting , it’s magical … so be prepared for some powerful insights if you use the guide and you visualise regularly … and you can also combine it with my guided visualisation.
Use both regularly if you’re working on a big dream, an important project, a life goal that really matters to you… and let me know how it goes.
Notice what comes up for you and take inspired action … these are the moments when the sub-conscious mind is in total harmony with the Universal mind, the cosmic forces, the ultimate Creator.
It’s in these moments that you know that you are being guided.
